From helping you with casting skills, pointing out areas to drift your flies, or simply assisting you for a relaxing day on the river. Our guides will work with you to make it the perfect guided trout fly fishing trip!

Forrest’s enthusiasm for fly fishing, ignited at age ten in Cherokee, NC, has blossomed into a lifelong quest for mastery and sharing his passion for the sport. His journey, beginning with the thrill of catching his first trout, led him to guiding roles in Western North Carolina, competing on the USA fly fishing team, and eventually founding Cross Rivers Fly Fishing. Dedicated to honing his skills, whether while guiding or crafting distinctive flies in solitude, Forrest finds his deepest satisfaction in teaching others through his immersive trout fishing tours in Asheville, NC. His path is a fusion of skill, nature, and the delight of instilling a similar passion in his clients.
